Floorplate360 as a Optix alternative

Optix charges per location per month, with an included allowance of active users; extra users and extra locations are charged on top. Floorplate360 charges per location and never per member, and it reports to your building owner. Here is the whole comparison, with their published figures checked on 1 October 2026.

What Optix is good at

Worth saying plainly, because for some operators it is the right answer.

The strongest mobile experience in the category and the most design-led product of the four. If the member app is the thing your space is judged on, Optix sets the bar.

  • An excellent member-facing mobile app, and the clearest design of the four
  • Good automation tooling for front-desk workflows
  • Well suited to hybrid-workplace and enterprise-office use as well as coworking

When to switch

You are past the user allowance on your tier, you are paying separately for the white-labelled app, or you need owner reporting.

Floorplate360 and Optix

Is Floorplate360 cheaper than Optix?

It depends on your headcount, which is the point. Floorplate360 is $149 or $349 per location per month with no per-member fee, so a 40-member space and a 400-member space pay the same. Optix charges in a way that rises with members, so the gap widens as you fill the space.

What does Floorplate360 do that Optix does not publish?

A read-only portal for the building owner that produces monthly percentage-rent statements from the lease formula, and franchise operations as a first-class feature: a group, plan templates pushed to each location, consolidated reporting and licence billing. Neither appears in Optix's published plans.

Can we migrate from Optix to Floorplate360?

Yes, and it is included. Send a CSV export and we import members, companies, plans, open invoices and room bookings, each keeping a reference to its source system and original ID. A typical migration takes one week, running both systems in parallel through the final month.

When is Optix the better choice?

An excellent member-facing mobile app, and the clearest design of the four. If the member app is what your space is judged on, that is a real reason to choose them.

Thirty minutes, your own inventory and rate card, a demo tenant set up during the call. Migration from Optix is included.
